Recommended Courses in High School

Taking as many math, science, and english classes as possible will help pave the way to a career in bioengineering. If possible should do courses such as biology, chemistry, physics, and calculus.

Requirements in College

The college requirements are a lot more rigorous than the high school cources. An individual who is interested in a career in bioengineering will need to take Physics and Organic Chemistry in college. Calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and statistics will be a requirement for math in college. As a person furthurs his or her years in college they will need to take biomedical core knowledge, systems biology, micor/nano systems, and computational bioengineering.
